Spiders Flashmob (Public Performance Project)

During March this year i performed this flashmob styled event at a local nightclub in response to a public performance art brief that i was given. I created a piece in which about 50 volunteers would dress on them masks and sticky labels that would describe them as a person, the mask was there to hide there identity so the stickers would be the main focal point of observation telling the observers who they were. The project was aimed to be a stand out performance with people interacting with the flashmob crowd which they did with extremely positive results. One of the main things that did happen was people wanting to get involve hence why by the end of the event many people had lost their stickers and other people in the public had gain some. All in all this is what i wanted to happen. The aim of these photos here was to showcase the event as well as producing videos. With the style i created a very dark and subdued feel hence the location at a nightclub worked best for this event.

Ruins of Kourion (CYPRUS)

I recently went on a placement at the Cornaro Institute Larnaca, Cyprus where i used my time creating work for an exhibition but in-between that i travel the beautiful island exploring and finding inspiration for present and future projects. Here are some ruins i came across at the famous Kourion archaeological site.
